[Valve knowledge] Flanged Stainless Steel Ball Valve Operation and Application

Flanged stainless steel ball valve refers to the stainless steel ball valve connected by flange, which relies on the rotary valve to make the valve unblocked or occluded. Stainless steel ball valves are not easy to be eroded by the medium and are widely used in various industries. Our common ball valves can be divided into carbon steel ball valves, 304 stainless steel ball valves, 316 ball valves and copper ball valves, etc., and the following describes their operation and use:

1) Before operation, confirm that the pipeline and valve have been flushed;

2) The operation of the valve is completed by driving the valve stem to rotate according to the size of the input signal of the actuator: when the forward rotation is 1/4 turn (900), the valve is closed. When the reverse rotation is 1/4 turn (900), the valve is opened;

3) When the direction indication arrow of the actuator is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; When the indicator arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is closed.
