1. Certain components of flanged ball valves require polishing to meet processing requirements, ensuring a smooth surface with no rough edges.
2. All components should undergo degreasing treatment.
3. Tools used for assembly must be degreased and cleaned before use to ensure cleanliness.
4. After degreasing, perform passivation with an acid solution (phosphate-free).
5. Rinse thoroughly with pure water after passivation to remove any residual chemicals.
6. Dry each component individually using lint-free cloth, ensuring no thread residues or other contaminants remain on the surface, or use clean nitrogen gas for drying.
7. Wipe each component with lint-free cloth or filter paper dipped in analytical-grade alcohol until there are no visible stains.
8. Clean components ready for assembly should be stored in a sealed manner to prevent contamination.
9. After assembly, use nitrogen gas to blow through the valve for at least 1 minute.
10. Airtight testing should be conducted using pure nitrogen gas.
11. After passing the airtight test, seal the valve with clean polyethylene caps. The caps should be soaked in organic solvent and wiped clean before use.
12. Seal the valve in a vacuum bag.
